Our beautiful city has so much to offer, and if you’re like me, you’re often looking for something fun to do that is active, is easy to attend with friends and family and maybe something new that you haven’t tried. We’ve picked our favourites to share with you!

If you were a young ‘un in the 80s, you’ll likely have memories of air guitar-ing along to Pour some Sugar On Me or Love Bites, if you were cool, that is.

Anything hosted by Four Seasons is going to be great event. Change your life for the better with a week of fun and holistic health and wellness activities, open to locals and hotel guests.



yoga festivalJune 10 – West Coast Yoga Festival

If you’re planning on being out in the Howe Sound area, check out this festival in Squamish. This one day, outdoor community yoga festival features some of the best yoga teachers from the Sea to Sky corridor. Come downward dog with us!

June 10 – Vancouver Spartan Race

Adventure / obstacle races aren’t just for crazy fitness people! Only 5 miles and full of fun obstacles, this event held at Mount Seymour is a good way to test your mettle and throw a spear, crawl under barb wire and jump over a fire!

One of Vancouver’s most amazing fundraising galas, this event welcomes more than 400 of our city’s corporate and philanthropic leaders for an evening of great wine, food, and live music.

Vintage clothing, vinyl, toys and books at your fingertips. You never know what you’ll find! Rain or shine, your new treasure is waiting for you to discover.



Grouse mountainJune 20 – Suunto Multi-Grouse Grind Challenge

We all love a good hike and a good cardio session but what happens when you combine the two? You get the Multi-Challenge. OMG do you dare?

Summer is on our minds, so come kick off the season at our party, held in your honour. From 6:30 – 8pm, join us for food, fun and prizes.

If you’re curious about yoga, a die-hard fan or an experienced yogi, you can’t miss this day



jazzJune 22 – July 2 Vancouver International Jazz Festival

With events held over 10 days in different parks around the city, you can’t miss out on the festivities from concerts to kid friendly activities, food trucks and of course, amazing jazz. Come out and play!

Okay you can’t fault me for putting this one on the list. These guys are actors but they’re also athletes! Plus I grew up watching Hulk Hogan and Wrestlemania so c’mon let your inner kid out to play!

If the Grouse Grind isn’t challenge enough for you, how about a nice run from Ambleside beach to Grouse Mountain, and THEN up the Grind? (Or split up the legs in a team of 4). I knew you’d be interested! Come join in the fun!
