What Are The Benefits Of A Personal Fitness Trainer?

Having a personal trainer by your side can provide the encouragement, motivation, and energy you need to jumpstart a healthier, fitter you. A trainer can also help you set goals, create a plan to accomplish them, and celebrate your victories when you achieve them.

While our cheerleading capacities are a motivator for some, where we really shine is in making sure your workouts are personalized, the exercises you’re doing are tailored to your body’s capabilities and finding that perfect balance between being pushed and progressing, but not to the point that it undermines your safety and causes injury.

Our certified trainers are Kinesiologists and Exercise Specialists, eager to help you get started on your journey with a holistic approach to health. Book a free consultation today so you can that you can strengthen your body and get the results you’ve always wanted.

What Type Of Clientele Frequent Le Physique’s Gym?

We love this question since Le Physique is not a gym!

What that means is clients attend by appointment only, to ensure they get our full attention and we don’t have random people walking around, clanging dumbbells or camping out on one machine for hours on end.

That being said, the type of person that feels most at home in our studio are individuals that feel a customized workout program is a priority, and want to work with an experienced Kinesiologist. They may prefer the privacy and exclusivity of a studio setting, over a large, impersonal gym. Our clients are of all ages and experience levels, from complete beginners, to busy CEOs, to young professionals just making their health a priority.  No matter where you are in your fitness journey, we can help you get to the next level.

What’s The Difference Between A Kinesiologist And A Physiotherapist?

A kinesiologist is a regulated health professional that treats and prevents injury and improves health and wellness through exercise and movement. Kinesiologists address the physiological and mechanical systems of the body while a physiotherapist is a regulated health professional that restores, maintains a person’s mobility function. Can A Kinesiologist Help With Chronic Pain?

Kinesiologists may work in conjunction with a client’s health care team to help with chronic pain issues and management. An example of the types of clients we see that experience chronic pain often come to us with a history of motor vehicle accidents, osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia, spinal stenosis, slipped disk, or are recovering from a hip or knee replacement.

The key is making exercise specific to your body’s needs and setting up appropriate progressions to build strength, without making it worse. Without sounding cheesy, clients have told us that working with someone that actually understands their injury, and how frustrating and debilitating chronic pain can be, is reassuring. We guide and motivate you to keep moving by gradually increasing the frequency, intensity and duration of activities that can often help ease chronic pain.

What Are The Studio Hours?

We take session bookings between  Monday to Friday 6:00am – 7:30pm, Saturday 8:00am – 12:30pm, and Sunday we are closed.

Will I Be Locked Into A Contract?

No “24-month sign on the dotted line” contracts here! Clients get to pick the package that works best for them based on session number or short timeline. Unlike other gyms and fitness centres, our clientele are not locked into any type of long-term contract.
