Each member of our team combines their top-level education with passion to ensure that you receive the highest standard of service every step of your journey. We know that optimal health and fitness is best obtained through a holistic and integrated approach. Guided by a solid foundation in kinesiology, anatomy, biomechanics, and physiology, our trainers and specialists seamlessly work together to ensure all aspects of your health and wellness are cared for.

Gillian Morrow

Kinesiologist, M.A.T. Specialist & Clinical Pilates Instructor

Gillian began her fitness journey over twenty years ago in Europe as a fitness instructor where she combined her love of music and movement. Passionate about health and wellness, her studies have included certifications in Pilates, Muscle Activation Techniques, athletic therapy and rehabilitation, allowing her to help her clients in finding their own path towards leading healthy lifestyles.

Nicole Yamanaka


Nicole has worked with one of BC’s leading fitness gyms as a top achiever with several awards in personal training and customer service. Her passion is to motivate, educate and expand the minds of her clients and students to achieve more than just physical fitness. Nicole draws from her background and varied experiences such as yoga, rock climbing, kickboxing and pilates, to provide fun alternatives to “traditional exercises.”

Oliver Giving

Classical Pilates Instructor

Oliver is the owner and head instructor of Tone Pilates, which operates within Le Physique. He found Pilates through tendinitis, which he acquired in one of this knees due to too much running. After two years of physiotherapy and still injured, Pilates provided the solution within a few weeks and he was hooked. In 2015, he completed the 950-hour Advanced Teacher Training Program at Pilates from the Center in North Vancouver.

Katherine Leong

Clinical Pilates Instructor

Katherine was certified by master teacher, Dianne Miller after completing a rigorous 2 1/2 year internship teacher training programme. With a classical orientation she is influenced by 1st generation teachers Ron Fletcher, Eve Gentry and has continued her knowledge in workshops with Jose Marie Blom-Lawrence and Michelle Larsen. She recently completed the BASI Pilates for Injuries and Pathologies certificate course.

Jeffrey Wu

Personal Trainer

Jeff has been physically active ever since kindergarten and believes that enhancing overall health allows one to achieve their complete potential. He hopes to create an everlasting impact within the community by emphasizing the importance of consistent exercise routines, adequate nutrition and regular health checkups to create the brightest future possible.

Mascot and Client Aide

Part loverboy and part aloof cool kid, you can never tell if he’s in the mood to snooze in the sunshine or make sure you’re okay if you’re making “sounds of suffering.”  As the inspiration for our new logo, Shadow reminds us that size (and shape) matters not! It’s the fire in your heart, daring to think big, and to dream of what may not seem possible that makes all the difference in the world.

Kevin Kwok

Personal Trainer

Kevin has been involved in numerous sports program since childhood, which exposed him to an active lifestyle early in life and now focuses his training exclusively on dragon boating. Kevin has been paddling for the past 2 years and hopes to make the Canadian National Team in 2021. His passion is to motivate others to accomplish their short and long term fitness goals.

Brian Lau

Client Care Manager
Brian’s love for gymnastics from a young age has enabled him to try other sports; even though he may not be good at it! His passion for gymnastics was what inspired him to pursue his studies in the field of kinesiology. On his time off from Le Physique, you can see him at his other day job slinging lattes at your local café.

Amelia Ng

As we grow, we lose our perception and ability on what healthy movement is. We must continue to practice the ability to move the way our body was built for. The importance of movement creates the foundation of our health and fitness and the ability to perform activities of daily living. Let’s move together!

May Guan

Personal Trainer

May developed a passion for fitness since a young age – eventually finding her love for both playing and coaching volleyball. An avid hiker and distance runner, she is always in search of a new challenge. May believes in fostering a fun, inclusive, and supportive environment where people can achieve their health-related goals.

Suzanne Malin – RMT

RMT Student
Suzanne has always been drawn to helping people. After receiving her first massage she knew that a career in manual therapy was exactly what she wanted. Suzanne first started as a certified bodyworker and reiki practitioner and is now a Registered Massage Therapist. Assisting people in becoming more aware of their body is what Suzanne loves about her career.

Emmanuel Ogalo

Growing up with a passion for fitness and sport, Emmanuel fostered the desire to challenge himself through competing in an array of sports. This supported his understanding of the multidimensional nature of the body and how to make it work best for his clients. Emmanuel’s passion is to help make people feel better, stronger, and help them find enjoyment in the challenge of improving their body’s functioning.

Michelle Ho

Client Care Manager
Michelle has been physically active from a young age - swimming and skating during her childhood, to rugby in high school. She is a Health Sciences major who is interested in helping and motivating others to pursue a healthy lifestyle. Michelle prioritizes physical and mental health by spending her time incorporating daily physical activity and journaling to maintain her physical health and mental clarity.
